Shared Intentions Fuel Distinct Goals

Today I’m excited to share a guest post, along with a cool resource for you and your  PSAP, courtesy of my friends at Watson Consoles!

Shared Intentions Fuel Distinct Goals

In the public safety world, there is a coalition of vendors, service providers, associations and other organizations that share a common, and serious goal –  to make the PSAP work environment better. How we each contribute depends on opportunity, expertise and passion.

We met Adam Timm nearly two years ago at a national conference where he was speaking about dispatcher wellness and PSAP culture. Essentially, he was sharing the qualities of high-performance environments – a concept that guides our own teams’ design and development efforts. At Watson Consoles, we contribute to the public safety space by creating console workstations for high-performance public safety teams.

In 2017, we launched a partnership with Adam and have been pleased to feature The Healthy Dispatcher as a monthly guest blog on the Watson Consoles’ feed.

While we offer different things to the PSAP community, we share an appreciation for the critical support these teams provide. And we share a passion for easing the pain-points dispatchers face day-to-day.

As a thank you for your support, we have created this downloadable poster. The 11 x 17 printable, color poster features Top 5 Healthy Habits for a High Performance PSAPs. Just click the link below to download yours.

Sometimes it feels like influencing change is impossible! The truth is, it is possible. Here are 5 steps you can easily add to your daily routine. Download and print this 11×17 poster for your mission critical team. It starts with you. Print it. Post it. Practice it.

Click over to the Watson Consoles page to learn how you are influencing your PSAP’s culture and how five simple steps help improve communication and relationships.
